Hi! My name is Luciel Avalon Sanchez (they/them). I am a queer, nonbinary, Latinx theatre maker with a focus in lighting. I graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in Theatre in May 2024. Since then, I have stayed in the CT/Northeast area freelancing in theatrical lighting. I mainly focus on Lighting Design, Programming, Light Board Operation, and Electrics, but am interested in mostly every aspect of Theatre. In the past, I have dabbled in Carpentry, Acting, Stage Management, Projections/Media Design, Sound Design, and Audio Engineering.

I value collaboration, creativity, artistry, safety, and necessity. My designs are usually rooted in symbolism and the mixture of reality with imagination. The stage is a playground where the real world need not apply unless you wish it to.
